Concept Note South - South innovation Workshop

 

Concept Note Invation Workshop:

The Alliance for Science will be hosting a workshop for a group of countries in Africa, Latin America and Asian Countries that strongly believe in the added value of scientific innovations in the area of Genome Editing.  The workshop will showcase Kenya’s, Argentina’s and other countries approaches to genome editing as a case study, and will discuss how governments can take decisions to foster local scientists to develop new ideas for addressing food security as well as the biodiversity and climate crisis. The objectives of the workshop include; Sharing knowledge on regulatory approaches to Gene Editing Technologies, and to explore opportunities for South-South Collaboration and Partnerships in the areas of genome Editing to benefit from existing innovations.
