Prof. Kinyamario holds a PhD in Plant Ecology from the University of Nairobi, a Master’s degree in Range Management from Texas A&M University in the USA and a Bachelor’s degree in Botany and Zoology from the University of Nairobi. He is a full Professor (now retired) of the University of Nairobi.Besides his academic and research work, Prof. Kinyamario offers consultancy services to various organizations such as the World Bank, the United Nations Environment Programme and the Kenya Government on environmental issues.
